One day, I decided to uproot my life to explore the mountains out west.
It was the best decision of my life.
I've had the chance to make a whole lot of mistakes and learn some lessons of what to do and what definitely not to do. I'm still learning, but in the meantime, I decided to share those lessons with you. Happy trails!

I was born and raised in a small town in southeast Michigan where the winter is cold and the land is flat. I love Michigan (especially in the summer), yet craved to be in the mountains since I was little.
A few years ago, I decided to make that dream a reality. Since then, I've been blessed with people, places, stories, lessons, mentors, rivers, mountains, and a life where I still have to pinch myself to make sure this is real! ​
